The centrepiece of gas treatment
Desulphurisation using activated carbon filters is necessary to prevent corrosion. Sulphur occurs as hydrogen sulphide (H2S) in biogas, the combustion of which would produce aggressive sulphuric acid (H2SO4). The hydrogen sulphide content is usually low, but can rise rapidly with protein-rich substrates (grain, legumes, slaughterhouse waste and the like), resulting in so-called sulphur peaks.
Our 3-chamber activated carbon filter is designed in such a way that it can capture sulphur peaks, thus ensuring that no unpurified biogas leaves the filter at any time. At the same time, the patented 3-chamber system guarantees maximum utilisation of the activated carbon - activated carbon filter for biogas
Customised solutions can also be produced as an alternative to the 3-chamber system.
This is what characterises all our 3-chamber activated carbon filters:
All activated charcoal filters also available as:
The removal of pollutants from a gas stream using activated carbon is an uncomplicated and extremely reliable process - a desirable process for any operator. In addition, only a small investment is required for a filter. If the effective activated carbons - such as the activated carbon from BioBG GmbH - are used and the optimum operating conditions such as humidity, temperature, and oxygen content are maintained, operation is also very economical.
Use our activated carbon service and order activated carbon for your system easily and conveniently using our contact form. We offer you various types of high-quality impregnated activated carbon for the desulphurisation of biogas or the separation of siloxanes.
You will receive the goods prepacked in the desired quantity for your activated carbon filter.
